Job Description

Dutco Construction Group started operations in the United Arab Emirates in the 1970s. The Group comprises of the following Companies:

We employ more than 10,000 people, making us one of the largest construction companies in the region with an extensive track record in large-scale projects including power stations, reservoirs, hotels, airport infrastructure, and port development.

Dutco Construction is looking to recruit experienced Senior Engineers to work on Building projects (Building Road and Infrastructure experience), across Residential / Villas and Retail Sectors. Projects are valued between AED 300m to 800m.

Duties

We require experienced Senior Engineers, who have worked on similar valued Projects, for Tier 1 / Tier 2 Main Contractors. Duties will include:

1. To produce and/or develop the necessary drawings as per the design briefs.
2. Manage a section of site operations.
3. Overall knowledge of construction activities and permanent works.
4. Conduct internal technical meetings.
5. Cost control, awareness, measures, and productivity / monitor and report construction productivity.
6. Permanent and temporary material availability in the local market.
7. Management of plant, equipment, material, and labour.
8. Lead a team of site engineers.
9. Project resources planning / short term programmes.
10. Identify and deliver the task in a timely and effective manner.
11. Manage design consultants.
12. Manage and control all site engineering functions.
13. Preparation of bar bending schedules.
14. Construction methods rebar, formwork, concrete.
15. Deal with project managers / consultants.
16. Management of construction / shop drawings.
17. Temporary works design and implementation.

Desired Candidate Profile

UAE/MOFA Attested Diploma/Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related fields.

Minimum 2 to 5 years work experience in Building preferably from a Tier 1 / Tier 2 Contracting Company.

DM approved engineer required with building experience. Projects worked on, as Senior Engineer should be in excess of AED 300m, managing significantly large packages and scope of works.
