JOB PURPOSE:A critical role in the company's operations, particularly in ensuring the integrity and reliability of Company's assets, including pipelines, structures, wellhead towers, equipment, and wells. Also, act as the Technical Authority, responsible for providing technical advice on Asset integrity throughout the assets lifecycle; implementing technical standards, guidelines, programs, policies, practices, and procedures in accordance with Al Dhafra Petroleum Asset Integrity Management programs.
Lead the efforts to challenge and improve existing asset design and integrity practices, with a view to enhancing integrity, reducing well cost, and improving asset life to achieve optimum risk mitigation, operational excellence, and enhanced asset performance.
This role involves monitoring company asset integrity Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) covering Asset Integrity Management Systems, corrosion management, maintenance, inspection, Well Integrity Management, Operating Integrity, and Process Safety, and preparing periodic Company integrity reports on the status of asset integrity, risk register, KPIs, and planned and outstanding maintenance/inspection activities.
Job Specific Accountabilities :- Technical Authority for Facility Integrity, providing expert guidance and oversight during the design, construction, and operations stages of our assets.
- Comply with Asset Integrity Management System as per ADNOC Upstream Integrity Code and best industrial standards (ISO, API, etc.).
- Participate in projects' technical reviews and pre-startup safety reviews to ensure that AIMS requirements are included, and facilities are ready for operation.
- Collaborate and provide technical support with cross-functional teams to integrate Facility Integrity considerations into the design, construction, and operation of offshore facilities.
- Coordinate and collaborate with contractors and service providers to ensure compliance with Facility Integrity requirements, industry codes, and standards.
- Monitor and analyze company asset integrity Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), identifying trends and initiating appropriate actions to improve performance.
- Collaborate with service providers to ensure Company Asset Integrity KPIs are met.
- Coordinate and implement all corrosion mitigation and condition monitoring programs within the approved budget to ensure the integrity of all static equipment at work.
- Ensure that all technical aspects related to corrosion & quality control management and integrity assessment are undertaken in conformance with company standards and/or industry codes of practice.
- Ensure that all maintenance/repair plans for all static equipment and pipelines are performed in accordance with industry best practices, quality, and HSE standards.
- Ensure updating the available data management systems with the inspection and corrosion findings of each equipment/facility, and major problem areas are accurately and timely logged and identified.
- Review any MOC and/or dispensations to continue to operate Assets that are deemed lower risk with appropriate mitigations. Keep track of such assets under dispensation in various fields and prepare a combined KPI.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to contractors and service providers regarding Facility Integrity and Process Safety requirements.
- Review reports related to integrity and track remedial actions to ensure all outstanding issues are captured in AIMS databases for mitigating solutions in a timely manner.
- Communicate the analysis and trends of integrity threats to field involved parties and management.
- Lead investigations into asset integrity incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Issue integrity reports to the "Asset Holder" on inspection and corrosion findings and recommendations of mitigation plan and follow-up on the timely implementation of mitigating actions and/or restoring the equipment conditions.
- Ensure satisfactory implementation and evaluation of all chemical treatment programs formulated for internal corrosion control.
- Oversee intelligent pipeline/facilities tool inspection analyses recorded data and recommend necessary inspection/repair programs.
- Provide technical support to the respective operations department on Corrosion/quality control, Corrosion prevention measures, and inspection/condition assessment aspects to ensure the fit-for-service condition of the respective assets.
- Carry out technical investigations regarding metallurgical failures/deterioration of static equipment and pipelines.
- Drive the implementation of the Annual Integrity Plan within the assigned asset and keep respective management informed of the progress status.
- Facilitate verification audits and failure investigations related to asset integrity, recommend remedial measures, and follow up on their implementation.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to align Facility Integrity objectives and best practices.
Asset Integrity Management- Manage the Asset integrity interfaces between all functions.
- Act as a Technical Advisor for company Facility Integrity Management.
- Support an Asset Integrity Management Program in AL Dhafra Petroleum Operating Company.
- Coordinate with Projects, Drilling, and Site Operations to ensure wells barriers are appropriately designed, integrity established, and maintained during Assets full life cycle.
- Ensure routine Assets Integrity monitoring and analysis.
- Lead projects related to assets integrity management for existing assets and future projects.
- Ensure appropriate data is being collected and reviewed to monitor and manage well potential flow assurance anomalies.
- Lead required Assets Integrity anomaly investigation and troubleshooting activities and ensure appropriate actions and solutions.
- Ensure appropriate Maintenance and Surveillance works are planned and executed as per company requirements.
- Ensure appropriate investigations are initiated and lessons learned incorporated by vendors and contractors when required.
- Carry out studies addressing specific operational integrity problems as assigned from time to time and prepare appropriate recommendations/action plans for immediate solution of such integrity problems.
- Participate in HAZOP and Risk Assessment (RA) associated with well changes/problems that may have potential impact on integrity.
- Incorporate lessons learned from previous experience into the company wells and assets integrity management strategy for future and existing projects.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
- Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- 8 -12 years' experience of petroleum engineering activities related to Asset integrity management, investigation, and evaluation of integrity issues, risk assessment, risk ranking, and mitigation planning.
- Strong understanding of Asset Integrity Management sub-elements (i.e., PIMS, SIMS, Corrosion Integrity, Maintenance and Inspection, Well Integrity, and Operating Integrity) management processes.
- Highly skilled (technically and professionally) with a thorough understanding of asset construction and completion design and demonstrable experience in maintenance/integrity philosophies and practices.
- Good knowledge of Asset Integrity Management (offshore and Onshore structures) in a large oil/gas sector environment.
