The jobholder is responsible for developing, designing, updating, and advising on the Energy Management System and practices to support energy performance for ocean-going vessels. This includes ensuring compliance with national and international maritime regulations, ADNOC Energy Management System guidelines, and best practices. The role involves improving the fleet’s energy efficiency by aligning company operating principles with maritime regulations and international standards. Additionally, the jobholder will monitor and analyze the energy use of vessels using data logging, manage a system for KPI monitoring of fleet performance, and provide advanced technical and analytical expertise in energy optimization and management.
This includes implementing energy-saving measures, ensuring compliance with environmental standards, leading technical assessments, managing energy optimization projects, monitoring regulatory compliance, and supporting innovation and training within the department. The jobholder will also lead energy certifications for ADNOC’s L&S Fleets globally.
