JOB DESCRIPTIONResponsible for supporting the Manager and ensuring that all electrical networks and systems are in accordance with SSMC and local authority safety and management standards, policies procedures, statutory and contractual requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Facilitates and advises on the type and arrangement of circuits, circuit-breakers, and equipment, based on calculations
- Prepares delivery and installation schedules for machines, cables, and fittings
- Ensures that completed works meet specifications and safety standards, contributing and adhering to the safety requirements of the operation
- Monitors and ensures that all works are carried out in accordance with the contract drawings, specifications, instructions, and programs
- Oversees all activities relating to electrical works before, during, and after the execution of the projects
- Monitors all planning, arrangement, and control of material compliance testing/evaluation and ensures relevant records are maintained
- Plans and conducts regular record inspection and test activities for materials and workmanship
- Facilitates annually for electrical networks and systems for upgradation and replacement
- Approves and assists the Engineer in resolving all recorded technical queries
ACCOUNTABILITIES- Designs and supervises the design of a variety of electrical systems
- Evaluates electrical design drawings and specifications prepared by other engineers
QUALIFICATIONSExperience:Required:- 4-6 years of relevant experience in a similar industry
Desired:- Experience in a large healthcare facility
Educational Qualification:Required:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or in a relevant technical discipline OR Diploma in relevant field with 3 years of additional experience
Desired:- Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering or in a relevant technical discipline
