We are now looking for Senior Electrical Engineer (Construction Management experience) to lead the discipline to execute projects and support bids in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Reports To

The Senior Engineer (Construction Management experience) reports to the Head of Discipline, Senior Electrical Engineer.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with construction experience in 132kV High Voltage Substation projects within the Oil and Gas sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all electrical construction activities including 132kV & 33KV GIS Switchgear, Power Transformers, SCMS, PMS, 132kV and 33kV cable pulling, knowledge of Synchronization system and Philosophy etc. in consultation with Lead Engineer ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and project timelines.

Closely monitor the execution of daily electrical construction activities, ensuring alignment with project specifications, quality standards, and schedule. Close coordination with multidisciplinary teams and interface projects is required. All construction activities shall be in accordance with ADNOC HSE policy.

Safety Management:

Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring all construction activities comply with safety regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 15 years Oil & Gas experience and at least 8 years in a Lead role.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, leadership and coordination, analytic and pro-active approach competence in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Chemical Industries.
• Knowledge of industry-specific software, such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other computer-aided design tools.
