The Opportunity:

The Senior DevOps Engineer will play a critical role in our development team, ensuring the smooth deployment and operation of our software solutions. You will be responsible for the integration and automation of software development and deployment processes, facilitating continuous integration, continuous delivery, and infrastructure management.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Manage and optimize cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
• Monitor applications and infrastructure for performance and security.
• Identify and resolve system bottlenecks, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Work closely with software developers to integrate DevOps practices into the development process.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for development and production environments.
• Implement and maintain security policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Stay updated with emerging DevOps trends and technologies.
• Continuously improve system automation and deployment processes.
• Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management, and Governance of Organizations policies, procedures, plans, and related risk assessments.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a DevOps role. Recent start-up experience is a nice to have.
• Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform).
• Linux based stack of tools and skills. Cloud technologies, ideally Azure, but any major one will do CI/CD tools, GitHub action is what we use, but once again any popular will work
• Basic knowledge of SQL, experience with Postgres ( at least ), plus in case of any mentions of Clickhouse
• Kubernetes and Docker experience - must have
• Some coding skills ( any language )
• Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Bids and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work full-time in our Abu Dhabi office.
• Passion for AI and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Russian language is an added advantage.

Bonus skills:

• Bonus points for listed experience with redis, keycloack, and java applications

This role is based onsite in Abu Dhabi, with some requirements to travel ( 30%).
