Senior Design Manager - Infrastructure

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Senior Design Manager Infrastructure to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will lead and oversee the design and execution of complex infrastructure projects, driving innovation and excellence in our rapidly growing urban landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the planning, design, and management of large-scale infrastructure projects in Dubai and the surrounding region.
• Develop and implement strategic design solutions that align with client needs, regulatory requirements, and sustainable practices.
• Lead and mentor a team of designers and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for complex infrastructure projects.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery of high-quality infrastructure designs.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in infrastructure design and incorporate them into project workflows.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure project compliance and satisfaction.
• Drive the adoption of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and other advanced design technologies within the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in infrastructure design and management with a proven track record of leading large-scale projects.
• Extensive knowledge of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
• Strong understanding of infrastructure design principles, urban planning, and sustainable design practices.
• Demonstrated expertise in project management, risk assessment, and budget control.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in creating and presenting detailed design reports and proposals.
• Experience working in the Middle East region is highly desirable.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
• Willingness to travel within the region as required for project site visits and client meetings.
