Job description

Develop complete solution of TCS, ITS design and coordinate with design engineers and CAD operators to prepare plans, designs, specifications and estimates for roadway ITS, Traffic Junctions projects, including Variable Message Signs (VMS), temporary and permanent CCTV cameras, vehicle detection (in-road and non-intrusive), conduit and junction box infrastructure, fiber optic and copper wire communication cabling, field equipment cabinets and wiring, and communications Hubs.
Develop Field of View and bandwidth calculations of CCTV, and TCS systems.
Develop comprehensive telecommunication plans for ITS, ICT systems.
Develop Communications System Drawings including System schematic design drawing, Fiber cable route, Communications system interface, Fiber Cable Splice Table and Network Block Diagrams.
Develop ITS Infrastructure Layout sheets.
Develop Signal Grouping Arrangement, Signal Schematic Diagrams.
Develop design of tunnel management ELV systems, and Server rooms.
Develop standard detail plans, specifications, and design documents for ITS design projects.
Collaborate in the design and development of ITS and TCS concepts of operation, including requirements analysis; technology review and selection; and development of communication of operational concepts, and specifications.
Perform other ICT related responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
