Your new role, what's involved

The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for the comprehensive design and development of Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plants. This role demands a deep technical understanding of CCGT systems, excellent project management capabilities, and a collaborative approach to work with multidisciplinary teams.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

1. Lead the design and engineering efforts for CCGT power plant projects from initial concept through to completion.
2. Develop and review detailed engineering designs, specifications, and technical documentation for CCGT systems.
3. Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure all design requirements and project objectives are met.
4. Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical evaluations for new CCGT projects.
5. Oversee the preparation of engineering drawings, schematics, and layout plans.
6. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
7. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design team members.
8. Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
9. Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering processes.
10. Stay updated with the latest advancements in power plant technology and integrate innovative solutions into designs.
11. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
2. Minimum of 15+ years of experience in the design and development of CCGT power plants.
3. Strong knowledge of CCGT systems, including turbines, heat recovery steam generators (HRSG), generators, and control systems.
4. Proven experience in leading engineering projects and working with cross-functional teams.
5. Proficiency in engineering design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, P&ID software).
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
9. Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus.
