Senior Design Engineer

FINTEC recruit is supporting recruitment for positions based in Dubai. We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer working for a prestigious engineering company, where the role is specialising in composite manufacturing with architecture, rail and marine projects. Responsibilities

• Develop and execute engineering solutions, producing accurate drawings for composite manufacturing purposes.
• Generate detailed designs that support the installation process, ensuring products meet high standards and client expectations.
• Collaborate with various disciplines to ensure designs meet structural criteria and are completed within agreed timescales.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, providing timely updates and suggestions for improvements.
• Lead by example, maintaining professionalism and adhering to Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.

Skills and Experience Required for the Design Engineer role:

• A degree in Engineering.
• 5-10 years of experience in a similar role within composite manufacturing.
• Proficiency in steel design is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle complex modelling, surface, product optimisation, and system simulation tasks.
• Expertise in utilising Catia smart tools such as power copy, parametric modelling, catalogues, and design tables.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate efficiently at all levels and support both design engineers and senior design engineers.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality design engineering work to both internal and external customers.
