Senior Design Engineer
Job description
- Lead the design and engineering efforts for CCGT power plant projects from initial concept through to completion.
- Develop and review detailed engineering designs, specifications, and technical documentation for CCGT systems.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure all design requirements and project objectives are met.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical evaluations for new CCGT projects.
- Oversee the preparation of engineering drawings, schematics, and layout plans.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design team members.
- Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering processes.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in power plant technology and integrate innovative solutions into designs.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of15+ years of experience in the design and development of CCGT power plants.
- Strong knowledge of CCGT systems, including turbines, heat recovery steam generators (HRSG), generators, and control systems.
- Proven experience in leading engineering projects and working with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in engineering design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, P&ID software).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus.
