Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of data solutions and work on implementing best practices for data management and governance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines and infrastructure for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions and support data-driven initiatives.
• Implement best practices for data management, governance, and security.
• Optimize and maintain existing data infrastructure and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven work experience as a Data Engineer or similar role (45 years).
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and other programming languages.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
• In-depth knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced collaborative team environment.

Education

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
