Job description
Responsibilities:
Repair, maintenance & test of cranes & lifting equipment including, but not limited to, hook blocks, balls & swivels, gearboxes, overload protection units, and spooler units. Conduct independent offshore crane condition evaluations. Provide accurate identification of all components, report on conditions, and provide sufficient information to order correct spare parts. Ensure the workshop is kept clean & tidy and all company equipment is maintained in good order. Ensure project requirements are met within the time allowed. Ensure constant improvement of safety, performance, and quality standards. Ensure all ongoing work is correctly risk assessed and identify/action new assessments. Work as part of a team with other departments. Uphold the standards of the company and work in line with the company's objectives. Recognized Qualifications And Experience:
Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in mechanical operations or maintenance, preferably in the oil and gas industry. Mechanical diploma or equivalent (SVQ, city & guilds, etc.). Must have excellent leadership skills and be able to motivate staff for teamwork. Good English language skills (reading, writing, and communication). Good working knowledge of MS Office programs. Experience in repair & maintenance of crane-related equipment. Experience in working to schedules. Apply now
