Ensure the timely procurement and contracting of materials and services, securing the best value for money.
Act as representative with key suppliers and contractors, ensuring they understand and meet asset performance requirements.
Provide regular updates and reports on ongoing activities, ensuring effective follow-up.
Collaborate with team leaders and staff to develop and improve PSCM (Procurement and Supply Chain Management) strategies and practices for the asset.
Understand local business and market sector requirements for third-party goods and services.
Negotiate contract terms and conditions with the support of the legal team.
Advise the business on PSCM processes and risk management.
Manage supplier relationships, including engagement, expediting, and logistics.
Oversee the full sourcing process, from scope development and supplier selection to commercial negotiation and contract execution.
Contribute to the development and implementation of supplier performance management strategies.
Provide ongoing cost/claims management and risk assessment for up to 30 contracts and 200 purchase orders.
Maintain comprehensive documentation in company-prescribed formats and document management systems.
Regularly report on activities and future plans to ensure transparency and alignment.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field is required. A postgraduate or professional qualification in PSCM, legal, or quantity surveying (QS) is preferred.
Experience: 10–15 years of experience in contracting and technical roles within Procurement and Supply Chain Management, including the full contract lifecycle: from strategy development and tendering to award, post-contract administration, claims handling, and closeout. Proven success working as part of a high-performing team. Extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, either with an operator or an oilfield services company. Strong background in estimating and costing. Solid understanding of service contracts, international commercial laws, and arbitration procedures.
