Role Purpose

We are looking for Senior Project Managers/Construction Managers for our P&DS team, to be based on site on a major Program in Dubai, as part of a PMC. The role is primarily project managing the delivery of services related to the final design along with the planning, phasing, co-ordination and construction of the phased and timely delivery on large-scale master plan projects. We are seeking Project Managers/Construction Managers with strong experience in managing design phase and construction phase.

What this job involves

Oversees all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires a skilled professional who can coordinate various teams, manage resources, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Project Director with the direct management of the various Contractors in terms of programmes, delivery and commercial management.
• Champion of HSE throughout all elements of the construction of the project.
• Continuous quality & improvement drive throughout the project to ensure best in class delivery.
• Responsible for ensuring continuous collaboration with all stakeholders to secure delivery objectives throughout the project.
• Support the delivery support of the Enabling Works and Main Works Contract packages in coordination with the Project Director.
• Identify critical issues impeding Works (i.e. lack of design detail, technical submittal responses, delayed inspection requests, lack of materials or labor etc.) and escalate with the Consultant / Contractor.
• Mitigation measures at a senior management level.
• Coordinate with the Project Director regarding early warnings and claims / notice responses.
• Coordinate with the Site Supervision Consultant regarding resources and activities and escalate where necessary.
• Responsible for interfacing with off-plot developments regarding logistics and construction access requirements.
• Responsible for challenging the Contractor Works programme, current Works status, production KPI’s and identify best way forward.
• Responsible for the delivery and coordinating the logistics requirements (laydown area, adjacent plot activities, materials handling) in coordination with the project stakeholders.
• Coordinate primary infrastructure services connections.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in construction project management
• Proven experience in large scale Master Plan Projects experience in UAE required. Experienced in managing design phase and construction phase.
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and quality control
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve complex issues
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Relevant degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are advantageous
