Senior Compliance Officer

We are working with a government entity based in Abu Dhabi who are looking for a Senior Compliance Specialist to join the team. This is a newly created position where you will develop, implement, and oversee the organisation's compliance program, including policies, procedures, and controls to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. UAE Nationals are strongly preferred for this position.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• 7 - 12 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs or related field, with a strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements applicable to the organisations industry.
• Proven experience developing and implementing compliance programmes, policies and procedures within a complex organisational environment.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• High level of integrity, ethical conduct and professionalism with a commitment to upholding compliance standards and fostering a culture of compliance within the organisation.
• UAE National preferred.
