Mercer is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Riyadh, Saudi Arabia office:

Business Development Manager

What can you expect?

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing new clients in Saudi markets and will play a significant role in the firm's growth and bottom-line results. Additionally, you will be building business relationships with senior human capital leaders and C-level executives in some of the largest and most recognized companies in the region.

  • Engage and build trusting relationships with human capital leaders and C-level executives
  • Advise on assessment solutions that help solve their most pressing talent challenges
  • Generate new leads through networking, sales, and marketing activities to ensure a continuous pipeline of opportunities
  • Successfully tailor messages to the audience, take control, and manage long-term complex sales cycles

We will count on you:

As a Business Development Manager to participate in the preparation, presentation, and negotiation of client proposals/RPP and solutions. Furthermore, you will deliver impactful presentations that demonstrate value and ROI.
  • Expert at positioning solutions which in most cases are first-of-its-kind in organizations
  • Exceed revenue goals by closing new client accounts in the defined territory
  • Create compelling proposals and RFPs that demonstrate value and get the right message across
  • Proactively initiate and engage in BD calls and meetings to target prospects, managing the full business development cycle

What you need to have:

As a Business Development Manager, we are looking for a young, talented, entrepreneurial, fast-paced fast-growing company ready to take over the world. It would help if you were extremely ambitious, confident, and highly analytical.
  • Bachelor's degree in any relevant field
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills
  • Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in commercial roles
  • Proven experience in understanding targets
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic is a must
