Job Title: Senior Cloud Support Engineer

We are looking for a senior cloud support engineer who will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to cloud infrastructure and services. The candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities
Must have over 3 years of relevant expertise in app modernization, Kubernetes, and application platforms, with hands-on experience in Tanzu and Kubernetes platforms.
Familiarity with VMware technologies, including vSphere, Tanzu, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, Cloud and Virtualization, vCentre, vSAN, NSX, vROps, and vRA.
Proficient in troubleshooting Container, Docker, Kubernetes Platform, and CNCF-based PAAS Services, demonstrating strong knowledge of SRE practices and DevOps/CICD concepts.
It is advantageous to hold certifications such as Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and VMware Advanced Professional.
Exceptional problem-solving and diagnostic skills, complemented by effective communication and soft skills.
Act as the primary support for VMware Tanzu/Kubernetes Platform, creating SOPs, user manuals, and documentation for the VMware Tanzu knowledge base.
Manage critical business requirements, ensuring continuity and restoration in case of escalation.
Provide client support aligned with business objectives and generate high-quality documentation for use cases, business, and technical solutions.
Perform day-to-day operational tasks and monitoring of the VMware Tanzu/Kubernetes Platform.
Take responsibility for communication with suppliers and IT staff to resolve or escalate issues, maintaining records of events and maintenance activities.
Engage with stakeholders to comprehend issues and facilitate appropriate resolutions.
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
