Purpose of the role
The Senior Client Manager will have ownership of account management services for an allocated portfolio of clients. The role will aid in the overall service provision to clients ensuring that the business is retained and developed.
Key Responsibilities:
Provision of the day to day servicing of a client's insurance programme to support retention and development of the business.
Placement of insurances for clients in accordance with Lockton strategy.
Effective and timely management of all renewals to ensure completion by the due date.
Obtain quotations both for new and renewal business.
Preparation of market and client documentation.
Check policy documentation for accuracy prior to issue to the client.
Provision to the client of policy documentation in accordance with regulations and in line with Lockton procedures.
Deal effectively (and to the satisfaction of the client and the market) with queries, including but not limited to changes in cover and risk.
Prompt and accurate resolution of accounts queries.
Identify the risk exposures and advise on insurance and risk management solutions in consultation with the Account Executive/Partner.
Provision of management information as required.
Manage and co-ordinate global insurance programmes and liaise with our producer network worldwide, if applicable.
Co-ordinate with our RI brokers at Lockton Mena for the reinsurance driven placements locally.
Manage and co-ordinate with Lockton Mena, Lockton Consultancy and the Bid Management Team for RFPs and Tenders requested locally.
Work in collaboration with GI Team to meet the GI targets in terms of retention ratios and new business placements.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years experience within a similar role.
Proven experience working with large Corporate Clients, focusing on General Insurance.
Deep understanding of Insurance and general insurance risks.
Strong communicator, with proven experience working directly with clients, servicing them on a daily basis.
Ability to build and maintain good business relationships with clients, insurers, and associates.
Ability to manage time, prioritize and ensure that deadlines are met without compromising quality.
Ability to identify potential problems and solve in light of knowledge of client & market.
