Senior Civil Engineer

Job Description: Specialist Engineer in Engineering Design & Detailing

Specialist Engineer in Engineering Design & Detailing of Civil & Structural works of Oil and Gas projects. Must have hands-on experience in design of rotating equipment/dynamic foundation.

1. Experience in developing specification and design basis.
2. Ensure that designs comply with the relevant Codes (especially American codes), Standards, Regulations and Procedures.
3. Must have worked in STAAD / Foundation Design Suite software in Analysis & Design.
4. Hands-on experience on model review in Navisworks/SP3D / E3D / PDS / PDMS platform is a must.
5. Experience on preparation of the Design calculation through XL spreadsheet will be a plus point.
6. Achieve safety standards as defined in personal performance contract.
7. Be responsible for assessing effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems, personal and team performance.
8. Carry out work in accordance with Wood and project Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
9. Maintain the required technical quality of work.
10. Identify scope and schedule changes in accordance with the Change Control Process.
11. Maintain planning and cost control on all scopes.
12. Provide technical assistance to discipline assigned personnel as required.
13. Ensure, as far as practically possible, that all assigned work is carried out in compliance with the agreed budget and schedule.
14. Keep up to date with technical developments, National and International standards and legislative requirements related to the discipline scope.
15. Review, prepare, check and/or approve work output of discipline assigned personnel.
16. Prepare estimates and schedules and assist in their review.
17. Maintain good communication with the client.
18. Maintain discipline filing system.
19. Encourage and provide lateral learning within the project.
