Senior Civil Engineer

Job Vacancy: Civil Engineer (DM approved Engineer G+12 - Construction)

Job Description:

1. Managing, designing, developing, creating, and maintaining construction projects of high-rise buildings and villas.
2. Review construction plans and drawings, ensuring compliance with building codes, safety standards, and other requirements.
3. Schedule material and equipment purchases and deliveries.
4. Ensure construction work meets the required standards of quality and conduct inspections and quality control tests.
5. Manage quality control documentation.
6. Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data.
7. Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits and safety requirements.
8. Deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required.
9. Monitor project progress and assess potential risks, materials, and costs.
10. Provide advice and creatively resolve any emerging problems or deficiencies.
11. Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
12. Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials.
13. Manage subcontractors and monitor their routine tasks.
14. Ensure projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time.
15. Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules, providing timely reports to management.

Skills Required:

1. Proven working experience in civil engineering (Construction - High rise buildings and villas).
2. Excellent knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, etc.
3. Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, and regulatory approvals.
4. Project management and supervision skills.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. License of professional engineer (preferably Dubai Municipality certification).
7. Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.

Education: BTech/BE in Civil Engineering

Experience: Minimum 12 years of UAE experience in related field.

Seniority Level: Mid-Senior

Preference to: Applicants with DM Certification (Unlimited)
