Specialist Engineer in Design & Detailing of Civil & Structural works of Oil and Gas projects
Must have hands-on experience in Concrete, Structural steel, Underground drainage & Layout design and drawing detailing
Clear understanding in SP3D and knowledge in Navisworks / SPR / E3D / PDS / PDMS platform is a must
Efficient handling of a team of engineers and designers
Experience in project schedule and manhour planning
Knowledge in project specification, US codes and project design basis
Working knowledge in Greenfield & Brownfield projects
Ensure that works comply with the American codes and Standards
Experience in preparation of MTO, review of other discipline vendor data, contractor submittals
Be responsible for assessing effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems, personal and team performance
Carry out work in accordance with Wood and project Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems
Maintain the required technical quality of work
Identify scope and schedule changes in accordance with the Change Control Process
Maintain planning on all work scopes
Provide technical assistance to discipline assigned personnel as required
Ensure, as far as practically possible, that all assigned work is carried out in compliance with the agreed schedule
Keep up to date with technical developments
Review, prepare, check work output of discipline assigned personnel
Prepare estimates and assist in their review
Maintain good communication with the team and client
Maintain discipline filing system
Encourage and provide lateral learning within the project
Qualifications
Minimum Degree Engineering in civil / structural
Minimum 8 years post graduate experience
Minimum 6 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry
Minimum 3 years’ experience in the designation

Project Management: Ability to oversee projects from design through construction, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.

Site Investigation and Analysis: Skills in assessing site conditions and performing geotechnical analysis.
