Position: Senior Chef De Partie (Male)

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the preparation, production, and presentation of food within the section assigned to you as directed by the Executive Chef in line with company standards ensuring food is served at correct times within the specification.
2. Ensure that the control of raw materials and portions are to the Company standards and ensure all food is served at the correct temperatures.
3. Participate in any necessary training and team meetings as required to complete job responsibilities to the Company’s and Clients standards, e.g., Health & Safety, Food Hygiene.
4. Assist the Executive Chef with the planning of costed menus and ordering supplies in line with the Company standards.
5. Keep all work areas and surfaces clean and tidy at all times and assist with routine cleaning schedules as required.
6. Assist at service times by serving customers.
7. Assist in loading service counters and to ensure the availability of sufficient supplies as and when directed before and during the service period.
8. Ensure high standards of personal performance, hygiene, appearance, and cleanliness at all times.
9. Communicate well and demonstrate a pleasant, polite, efficient, caring, and friendly service to customers and clients in all areas of service.
10. Work as a team to promote harmonious working relationships within the team.
11. Report any customer complaints or compliments and take some remedial action if at all possible.
12. Report immediately any incidents of accident, fire, theft, loss, damage, unfit food, or other irregularities and take such action as may be appropriate.
13. Deputize and take responsibility in the absence of the Head Chef.
14. Cover in other areas during periods of holidays and sickness.
15. Carry out any other reasonable task as directed by management.
16. Relevant experience in a Hotel or similar catering environment: minimum 5 years.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelors (Required)
2. Experience: CDP: 3 years (Required)
3. Language: English (Required)
4. License/Certification: HACCP Certification (Required)
