We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Charge Nurse - Informatics to join our team. This role bridges clinical nursing expertise with healthcare technology to enhance patient care, streamline workflows, and support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and optimizing nursing informatics initiatives, training nursing staff on digital health systems, and ensuring compliance with best practices in healthcare informatics.

Responsibilities

1. Lead the integration of informatics solutions into nursing practice to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
2. Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize electronic medical records (EMR) and other digital health systems.
3. Train and support nursing staff in the effective use of informatics tools, ensuring seamless adoption and compliance.
4. Monitor and evaluate the impact of informatics solutions on patient outcomes and nursing workflows.
5. Act as a liaison between clinical teams, IT, and hospital administration to drive informatics initiatives.
6. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, data security, and informatics best practices.
7. Participate in policy development and quality improvement initiatives related to nursing informatics.

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN); a Master’s Degree in Nursing Informatics or a related field is preferred.
2. Valid UAE nursing license.
3. Minimum of 8 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in nursing informatics or healthcare technology implementation.
4. Strong knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR), clinical decision support systems, and healthcare data analytics.
5. Experience with Oracle Cerner Health systems is highly preferred.
6. Thorough understanding of JCIA standards and their application in clinical documentation and healthcare informatics.
7. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
8. Proven experience in training and educating clinical staff on digital health solutions.
