Responsibilities
Source and evaluate potential suppliers and negotiate terms and pricing.
Review purchase requisitions and create purchase orders.
Monitor and analyze market trends and prices to ensure competitive sourcing.
Manage inventory levels and optimize stock replenishment.
Evaluate vendor performance and develop and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Collaborate with other departments to forecast purchasing needs and requirements.
Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in supply chain management.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a buyer or in a similar role.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
