Senior Business Development Manager - FX

Sokin is currently growing our Dubai office and we're looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join the expanding team. Focusing on FX and Iban products, you will be tasked with targeting enterprise level clients, you'll be in a full 360 role, building your pipeline and relationships with some of the biggest companies in the world.

Role & Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Business Growth: Develop and execute a new business development strategy focused on acquiring enterprise-level clients in the UAE and MENA region. Identify market opportunities and stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in the remittance and payments industry.
  2. Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct in-depth market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback assessments to identify business opportunities. Leverage insights to refine sales strategies and gain a competitive advantage in the regional market.
  3. Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate clients, financial institutions, and payment service providers. Implement strategies to enhance customer retention and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  4. Financial Performance & Reporting: Develop and manage revenue forecasts, budgets, and financial models to support business development initiatives. Provide regular performance reports to senior management, tracking key business metrics.

Requirements
  • Minimum 8+ years of business development experience in the remittance, FX, or financial services industry with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of the remittance and payments landscape in the UAE/MENA region, including regulatory compliance and industry trends.
  • Proven ability to build a robust sales pipeline and successfully convert high-value clients.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to develop data-driven strategies and translate market insights into actionable business plans.
  • Prior experience working in a FinTech, start-up, or high-growth environment is highly desirable.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven mindset with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
