As part of their aggressive expansion strategy, they are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive new business acquisition and expand market reach.
Role Overview: The Senior BDM Institutional Liquidity Sales will be responsible for acquiring new institutional clients, developing strategic partnerships, and increasing market share in the FX, metals, energy, indices, and crypto sectors. This role demands a proactive sales approach, exceptional networking skills, and deep industry knowledge to convert high-value clients and establish long-term business relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Acquisition:
- Identify and acquire institutional clients through proactive outreach, cold calling, and leveraging existing industry contacts.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Lead high-value deal negotiations and ensure seamless client onboarding.
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
- Research and engage with institutional clients, hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, and banks.
- Convert cold leads into profitable business relationships with a high conversion rate.
Industry Networking & Representation:
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events globally.
- Establish relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within the financial services industry.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and pitches that effectively communicate the companys value proposition.
Introducing Brokers (IBs) Recruitment:
- Identify and onboard high-performing Introducing Brokers (IBs).
- Develop incentive programs and support structures to attract and retain top-tier IBs.
- Expand the IB network to increase market penetration and revenue streams.
Market Intelligence & Strategy:
- Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
- Provide data-driven insights to the management team to refine sales strategies and optimize product offerings.
- Identify and leverage new market opportunities to maintain a competitive advantage.
Reporting & Performance Tracking:
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, deal progress, and market insights using CRM tools (SalesForce).
- Prepare regular sales performance reports and forecasts.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas.
Requirements:
Industry Expertise & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of direct sales experiencein the FX industry, specifically in institutional liquidity sales.
- Proven track record of closing large-scale deals and exceeding sales targets.
- Extensive experience in lead generation, prospecting, and cold calling.
- Established network of institutional clients, including banks, hedge funds, and proprietary trading firms.
- Strong knowledge of FX liquidity provision, trading platforms, and market dynamics.
Skills & Competencies:
- Exceptional sales acumen with a relentless drive to achieve results.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with a persuasive communication style.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (SalesForce) and sales analytics software.
- Ability to develop long-term client relationships and strategic partnerships.

- English Native or C1 (Mandatory)
- Additional languages are an advantage.

- Strong understanding of FIX API and STP liquidity provider benefits.
