Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. New Business Development: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities to drive revenue growth in the events or related sectors.
  2. Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  3. Market Research: Analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and improve strategies.
  4. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive business development plans aligned with the company’s goals.
  5. Sales Performance: Achieve and exceed sales targets by identifying client needs and offering tailored solutions.
  6. Proposal Development: Create and present high-quality proposals, pitches, and presentations to prospective clients.
  7. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and project management, to ensure seamless execution of client projects.
  8. Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build relationships and promote the company’s services.
  9. Reporting: Provide regular reports on business development activities, performance, and progress against targets.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: Minimum 5 years in business development with a proven track record in managing key accounts and driving new business in the events or related industry.
  2. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  3. Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the events industry and its dynamics.
  4. Sales Expertise: Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills with a focus on delivering value to clients.
  5. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas effectively.
  6. Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  7. Strategic Thinker: Ability to think critically and develop strategies that align with business goals.
  8. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
  9. Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
