Senior Business Analyst

The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of strategic initiatives that drive the growth of the bank. You will work closely with key stakeholders across various departments, including strategy, operations, product development, IT and external partners to gather and analyze data, identify business needs, and propose solutions to enhance performance and customer experience. This role is crucial in ensuring the success of the bank's products and services, as well as contributing to the overall growth strategy.

Key responsibilities:

Business Analysis

• Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements, define objectives, and document processes for new and existing products and services.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and financial modelling to inform decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
• Analyse customer data to identify trends, behaviours, and areas for product improvement.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and innovation, and proactively contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance customer and bank journeys.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and brainstorming sessions to gather feedback and insights from different teams.
• Coordinate with Product Development Team to ensure seamless implementation of new features and services.
• Act as a liaison between the business and technical teams to translate business needs into functional requirements.

Project Management

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic projects and initiatives in alignment with the bank's strategic goals and priorities.
• Support in developing business cases and project documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and impact assessments.
• Coordinate with Strategy Execution Team to ensure adherence to project milestones and deadlines.

Data Analysis and Reporting

• Analyse financial and operational data to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and revenue growth.
• Prepare reports and presentations that clearly communicate findings, recommendations, and performance metrics to senior management.

Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, project team members, and functional heads, to facilitate project success and stakeholder engagement.
