Stantec is currently looking for a BIM Coordinator to join our dynamic site team and support on a construction supervision project.

Qualifications And Technical Competencies

1. Experience in working with both consultants/contractors is preferable.
2. Technically capable of producing and managing LOD 300, 400 & 500 BIM models.
3. Will ensure construction documents accuracy based on discipline BIM modelling and the collaboration and coordination with other disciplines for design-changes and model challenges.
4. Monitor and validate As-Built model tagging with all related project documents e.g. The H&S file(s) and O&M manual(s) etc.
5. Manage federated model setups for interdisciplinary review and clash resolution.
6. Perform clash detection, model coordination, and issue resolution using advanced BIM software and tools.
7. Implement BIM execution plans, workflows, protocols, and quality control measures for each project in line with the stakeholders BIR.
8. Coordinate and collaborate with project stakeholders to align BIM deliverables with project requirements and expectations.
9. Conduct regular BIM coordination meetings to resolve clashes and ensure model accuracy.
10. Prepare own discipline model and/or content for internal reviews and coordination meetings.
11. Support project Manager in day-to-day BIM implementation activities.
12. Support contractor BIM team with planning and construction activities with proposed 4D sequencing model(s) review and progress reporting.
13. Provide progress and performance updates to project manager on fortnightly and monthly basis.
14. Record, store and maintain all formal correspondences related to BIM activities.
15. Must have solid understanding CDE platforms like BIM 360/ProjectWise, ACC.
16. Monitor and support the data collection process and validate Asset Information Model (AIM) with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) requirements for eg. Construction Operation Building Information Exchange (COBIE) and/or client specific requirements.
17. Ensure Project Information Model (PIM) are delivered in accordance with the agreed TIDP, MIDP and CDE protocol.
18. Collaborate and coordinate with the Project manager design-changes and model challenges.
19. Work closely with the Project Manager to support the in-house architectural, general engineering, and civil design discipline teams with day-to-day and long-term duties, tasks, and training.
20. Understanding of Dynamo BIM is necessary.
21. Technically capable of handling point cloud data.

Qualifications:

1. A degree, ideally in Architecture, Structure, Mechanical or equivalent.
2. A minimum of 10 years BIM experience.
3. 3D Model Quantity Extraction / Verification.
4. 4D Scheduling / Simulation using Autodesk NavisWorks and experience with Primavera P6 preferred.
5. Experience working in a Design Consultancy and / or Contractor.
6. Extensive experience in Autodesk Revit, NavisWorks & AutoCAD, Civil 3D.
7. Advance understanding of creating Revit families.
8. Working knowledge of Information Standards ISO 19650 (Parts 1 & 2 at a minimum), PAS 1192, BS1192, MIDP and TIDP creation and MIDP Automation.
9. Knowledge of CDE platforms (BIM 360, ProjectWise, Aconex).
10. Experience conducting clash detection and visual walkthroughs using Navisworks Manage.
11. Experience creating/tailoring project setups to suit the client.
12. Candidate must have worked on large scale projects.
13. Possess the ability to Develop Analytical Reports and Presentations.
14. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
