Position Overview:

DeepLight is seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Architect to lead our cloud architecture initiatives in the UAE. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our AWS-based architecture to support business goals and optimize performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of cloud solutions, setting the strategic direction for our infrastructure and cloud services.

Requirements

1. Architectural Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of complex AWS architectures, ensuring they align with best practices and meet scalability, security, and performance requirements.
2. Cloud Strategy Development: Develop and execute cloud strategies that support business objectives while leveraging the full capabilities of AWS services to improve industry competitiveness.
3. Security Best Practices: Implement and advocate for security best practices throughout the architecture, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
4. Performance Tuning: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of cloud applications and services, leveraging AWS tools and analytics to enhance efficiency.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the architecture meets the needs of multiple stakeholders.
6. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation and promote a culture of learning and knowledge sharing among team members.
7. Proven experience: Proven experience as an AWS Architect or in a similar senior technical role, with a strong portfolio of successful AWS projects.
8. In-depth knowledge: In-depth knowledge of AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, VPC, RDS, CloudFormation, and more, with relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional).
9. Strong expertise: Strong expertise in cloud-native architectures, microservices, and serverless computing.
10. Experience with DevOps: Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD methodologies, and tools for automation and orchestration (e.g., Terraform, Jenkins).
11. Excellent analytical skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
12. Proactive approach: A proactive approach to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and architecture best practices.
13. Experience in Financial industries: Experience in financial industries, either working for financial institutions or being positioned in a Fintech, understanding payment gateways.
