Senior Audit Manager

Pennell Hart are a Legal & Compliance specialist Executive Search firm with operations in UAE and London. One of our key clients, a government entity based in Dubai, is looking to hire a Senior Audit Manager to join their growing team.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the following:

• developing and implementing audit plans, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with the applicable rules and regulations.
• providing assurance by assessing and reporting on the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and control processes designed to help DDA achieve strategic, operational, financial, and compliance objectives.
• maintaining its independence by performing its assessments objectively, providing Management an informed and unbiased critique of governance processes, risk management, and internal control. Based on its findings, recommends changes to improve processes and implement corrective measures.
• ensuring accurate financial reporting and promoting operational efficiency by identifying weaknesses in these controls and helping mitigate potential risks and prevent fraud.

To be considered, you will have a degree in Business Administration (finance/accounting) or other relevant specialization, plus ideally be ACCA qualified.

You will have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in an internal auditing role with at least 5 years of management experience.

Knowledge of free zone laws, rules, and regulations in the region is required.

Excellent English/Arabic language skills, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills, are essential.
