As a Senior Associate, you’ll be expected to work with clients to help them grow sustainably and fulfil their responsibilities. In IT audit, we work with clients of all different sizes across many different sectors. You’ll work with clients at their sites, getting to the heart of how they work and the challenges they face. Making the most of your IT audit experience and client management skills, you’ll help our clients mitigate risks and work more effectively. All while assisting junior colleagues within the team. About the IT Audit Service Line

Where precision meets passion! Our IT Audit team collaborates with external auditors to assess the reliability and integrity of IT systems used in financial reporting. Our primary objective is to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, including SOX compliance. We conduct thorough audits of IT controls, systems, and processes, delivering audit reports and recommendations that strengthen IT controls and mitigate risks for clients undergoing external audits.

As a Senior Associate some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Data Analysis and Analytics:
    • Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL): Efficiently extract data from various sources, transform it into a usable format, and load it into data warehouses or data marts for analysis.
    • Data Cleaning and Validation: Ensure data quality by identifying and correcting inconsistencies, errors, and missing values.
    • Data Visualization: Create compelling data visualizations (e.g., charts, graphs, dashboards) to communicate complex findings to stakeholders effectively.
    • Advanced Analytics: Employ statistical techniques (e.g., regression analysis, hypothesis testing) and data mining algorithms (e.g., clustering, classification) to discover hidden patterns, trends, and insights within the data.
    • Predictive Analytics: Develop models to forecast future outcomes based on historical data and identify potential risks or opportunities.
  • RPA and Automation:
    • Design, develop, and implement RPA solutions to automate repetitive and manual tasks within the audit process.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation through data analysis and process mapping.
    • Extract, transform, and load data from various sources to support audit procedures and analysis.
    • Conduct data quality assessments and implement data cleansing and standardization measures.
    • Develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards to communicate audit findings and insights effectively.
    • Collaborate with audit teams to understand their data needs and provide tailored data solutions.
    • Stay updated on the latest RPA and automation technologies and trends.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on audit and assurance.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing RPA solutions using tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
  • Certification in RPA or data analytics.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Strong understanding of data mining, data warehousing, and data visualization techniques.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other relevant programming languages.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills are required; Arabic is advantageous.
  • Excellent computer software skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel on a regular basis to clients is expected.
  • Focused on self-development as well as having the desire to coach, mentor and develop colleagues.
