Senior ASP.NET Core Backend Developer

Location: Sharjah

Salary: up to 12K

Contract: Temporary contract 6 months

We are seeking a highly skilled ASP.NET Core Backend Developer with expertise in building and maintaining scalable and efficient backend systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of modern software development practices, a deep understanding of .NET 8, and hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, Entity Framework Core, and clean architecture.

Key Responsibilities

1. Backend Development:
   • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure backend systems using ASP.NET Core and .NET 8.
   • Develop and manage RESTful Web APIs to support various front-end applications and third-party integrations.
2. Database Design & Management:
   • Write and optimize SQL Server queries and stored procedures, and design efficient database schemas.
   • Ensure high data integrity and performance by implementing best practices in database management.
3. Code Quality & Architecture:
   • Implement and enforce clean architecture principles and software design patterns such as mediator.
   • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in C#.
4. DevOps & Version Control:
   • Utilize DevOps pipelines and GitHub for efficient code versioning, continuous integration, and deployment.
   • Collaborate with team members to manage tasks and monitor progress via GitHub or similar tools.
5. Optional Front-End Development:
   • Develop and maintain front-end applications using Vue.js, Nuxt, TypeScript, and SCSS (preferred but not mandatory).
6. Problem Solving:
   • Demonstrate algorithmic thinking and the ability to solve complex programming problems independently.
   • Implement efficient solutions to meet business requirements without over-reliance on external tools.
7. Cloud Services (Optional):
   • Work with AWS S3 for document storage and implement optimized storage solutions.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience as a backend developer.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core, particularly .NET 8.
• Proficiency in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Deep understanding of Entity Framework Core.
• Experience with SQL Server, including query optimization and schema design.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and version control systems like GitHub.
