Senior Art Director

Valtech is looking for a Senior Art Director to join our diverse team in Dubai.

As Senior Art Director you will play a key role in the conceptualisation, presentation and delivery of visually compelling and functionally rich digital solutions to household name companies and brands.

Possessing a strong intuition that drives your approach you always remain mindful of the overall strategy behind the work. Our ideal candidate can lead, collaborate, mentor and inspire, offering a unique perspective and creative insight both to internal multi-discipline teams and customer stakeholders. Most importantly this person will inspire those around them with beautiful aesthetics.

What You Will Be Doing

• Collaborate closely with the VP of Experience Design and the team to bring new ideas to life.
• Develop and execute innovative, creative strategies that support project objectives and deliver results.
• Present ideas and concepts to both clients and prospects.
• Inspire and motivate the team to produce exceptional work.
• Balance multiple clients and projects across the agency.
• Work cross-discipline to turn ideas into reality across various mediums.
• Establish the style and visual direction across multiple platforms, such as web and mobile.
• Foster progressive thinking and continually push creative boundaries.

• 7+ years of experience in digital design and art direction for leading brands.
• Highly conceptual thinker.
• Excellent storytelling and presentation skills, able to engage clients and colleagues.
• Ability to concept and design for motion graphics (animation skills are a plus but not mandatory).
• Strong understanding of visual design, brand development, and the creative process.
• Passion for typography, colour, illustration, motion, and technology.
• An instinct to lead with vision and creative inspiration, coupled with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid experience designing websites, mobile apps, and other digital channels.
• Willingness to oversee production when necessary; strong attention to detail is essential.
• Proficient knowledge of: Figma; Design Systems (desirable); Motion Graphics and Interaction Design; Adobe Creative Suite; Accessibility (desirable).
• Ideally you will have industry knowledge in one or more of these verticals: Travel & Hospitality, Financial Services, Retail & E-commerce.
