Senior Architect - landscape

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of innovative landscape architecture projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and environmental sustainability.
• Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies, utilizing advanced GIS and design software to inform landscape planning decisions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil engineers, urban planners, and ecologists, to integrate landscape architecture into broader development projects.
• Prepare detailed design documents, including planting plans, irrigation systems, and hardscape layouts, while adhering to local codes and regulations.
• Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely delivery of high-quality landscape solutions.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders through presentations and workshops, effectively communicating design concepts and project progress.
• Oversee the execution of landscape construction projects, providing on-site guidance and quality assurance to contractors and subcontractors.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution, with a strong academic record.
• A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant work experience in landscape architecture, demonstrating a portfolio of successful projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite, with a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
• Strong knowledge of plant species, horticulture, and sustainable design practices, reflecting an understanding of ecological principles.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex design ideas clearly and persuasively.
