Senior Architect Design

ARADA Development is seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect – Site Architect to oversee and ensure the seamless execution of architectural design on construction sites. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between design intent and on-site delivery, ensuring high-quality execution of hospitality and residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with developers or project management companies and possess extensive experience in site supervision, coordination, and quality control.

Desired Candidate Profile

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee architectural site activities to ensure design compliance, quality control, and seamless execution.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, and project teams, to ensure timely project delivery.
• Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and contracts to maintain alignment with project goals.
• Conduct regular site inspections and address design-related challenges in collaboration with the project team.
• Ensure materials, finishes, and construction methods align with approved designs and project specifications.
• Provide technical support and resolve design issues that may arise during construction.
• Work closely with the construction management team to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Prepare and review reports, design modifications, and progress updates for senior management.
• Maintain compliance with local building codes, regulations, and sustainability requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Experience: Minimum 8-12 years of experience in site architecture, preferably within the hospitality and residential sectors.
• Industry Background: Experience working with developers or project management companies (not design consultants or construction firms).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and other relevant design and project management software.
• Knowledge of Codes & Standards: Familiarity with UAE building regulations and international architectural standards.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Experience working on high-end residential and hospitality projects.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and detailing.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and green building certifications is an advantage.
