Lead, coordinate and execute all activities throughout the sales opportunity such as technical discovery, customer meetings, product presentations, demonstrations, and pilot evaluations for Ansys MBD solutions primarily Ansys SCADE software.
Understand the software development, verification and certification challenges faced by customers including various tools and processes being used and guide complex sales engagements into successful outcomes.
Position and articulate the value of Ansys MBD solutions addressing the weaknesses and challenges in customers' current processes to deliver the expected outcomes.
Develop example projects and proof of concepts based on the customer use cases and deliver workshops/training.
Develop pre-sales materials such as presentations, training, workshops, and video content.
Coordinate with the Ansys team to ensure effective and efficient communication as well as synchronized delivery of work products.
Support field and digital marketing by delivering technical content in events and seminars.
Be a recognized Ansys expert and trusted advisor to customers.
Submit suggestions for product improvement when needed. Report possible defects to Ansys.
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
6+ years of experience in Aerospace & Defense or related fields.
Experience in Model-Based Development (MBD) (any tool), code generation, and verification & validation (V&V) activities.
Hands-on experience in software development in C/C++ and control systems.
Hands-on experience with embedded systems design.
Proficient in customer-facing communication.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Exposure to Systems Engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) including standards such as DO-178C, ARP 4754B / ARP 4761A, Mil-Std-882E. Knowledge of certification-related procedures is a plus.
Experience with tools such as Ansys SCADE, Mathworks Simulink, other embedded software design solutions, and SysML authoring tools such as IBM Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect, etc.
Experience with MIL-1553, CAN, AFDX, ARINC 429, ARINC 818, ARINC 653, ARINC 661, etc.
Knowledge and exposure to Python scripting, TCP/IP, UDP, gRPC, etc.
Prior work experience in Aerospace & Defense OEMs, suppliers, Engineering Services Providers, including organizations developing UAVs, Air Taxis, eVTOLs, etc. on projects such as flight controls, flight management systems, autopilot, guidance navigation and control systems, engine control/FADEC, Battery Management, Display and Graphics including Aircraft Cockpit Display Systems.
Experience working in pre-sales/post-sales roles.
