The Senior Application Analyst will provide functional support, design, oversight and guidance of the clinical applications across M42 facilities. These responsibilities include but are not limited to developing system strategies with management and other stakeholders, conducting business needs analyses, identifying and mitigating project risks, supporting the applications users and assisting in the implementation of all clinical application projects. Participation in on-call support is required.

Responsibilities

1. Adheres to the division's policies, procedures and standards while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory bodies.
2. Contributes towards an innovative culture of continuous improvement for enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.
3. Participates in meetings and maintains professionalism and confidentiality as per the organization's standard code of conduct.
4. Completes personal performance evaluation cycle in a timely manner.
5. Expertise in a minimum of two healthcare clinical application modules/applications as information technology support analyst.
6. Expertise in Cerner Health Systems: FirstNet, Power Chart, SurgiNet, Core, CCL Reports, HNA & Security, Registration/Scheduling, Pathet & Blood Bank.
7. Experienced in one or more integration systems and HL7 / FSI.
8. Work closely with management and senior leadership in delivering results/Outcomes.
9. Assists in collecting and documenting workflow and gathering of requirements from various clinical stakeholders.
10. Ability to analyse queries as related to functionality of the clinical applications.
11. Ability to write clinical rules using Discern Expert.
12. Ability to write Registration Rules.
13. Assist with testing activities, tests new application releases in conjunction with established change control processes.
14. Troubleshoot problems or questions from end-users.
15. Assist in prioritizing and implement changes requested from the system.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Healthcare.
2. 6-8 years of experience in clinical support/implementation application, healthcare operations experience of equivalent experience.
3. Experience in Electronic Medical systems (EMR) and associated workflow of tier1 EMR’s such as EPIC or Cerner.
4. Established project manager of large-scale projects of 2-6 team members, with experience executing on structured Project Management methodology.
5. Preferred experience with Cerner.
