Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Aftermarket Sales Engineer based in Dubai at AEW Technik. This role combines technical knowledge with sales acumen to ensure that existing customers receive ongoing support and enhancements for their cooling systems. Below is a detailed profile that outlines the key responsibilities, skills, qualifications, and attributes necessary for a successful career in this position.

Responsibilities

  1. Identify and pursue sales opportunities for aftermarket services, including maintenance contracts, replacement parts, upgrades, and refurbishments for cooling tower systems.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans for increasing aftermarket sales and customer retention.
  3. Provide technical expertise to clients regarding cooling tower maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  4. Prepare and present service proposals that outline solutions tailored to specific customer needs.
  5. Collaborate with field service teams to coordinate service calls, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
  6. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings in the aftermarket sector.
  7. Monitor competitor activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  8. Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review.

Qualifications

  1. Diploma / bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, HVAC, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Generally, 3-5 years of experience in sales, technical support, or service engineering within the HVAC or cooling tower industry is preferred.
  3. Strong understanding of cooling tower technology, HVAC systems, and associated aftermarket services.
  4. Proven experience in sales, preferably in the HVAC, industrial, or aftermarket service sectors.
  5. Ability to work independently and take the initiative in pursuing sales goals.
  6. Commitment to ethical business practices and transparency in customer dealings.
  7. Previous experience focusing on aftermarket services or parts sales would be a strong asset.
