Senior Advisor Business Development, Contracts, and Commercial

Salary: AED 50,000 - 55,000 per month (Negotiable)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Advisor Business Development, Contracts, and Commercial to provide strategic guidance and expert support to the President (a Chinese national). The ideal candidate must have a strong background in the oil and gas EPC business, with proven expertise in contracts management, commercial negotiations, claims, and counterclaims. The role requires excellent presentation skills, deep commercial acumen, and the ability to manage high-value contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise the President on business development strategies, commercial frameworks, and contractual obligations.
• Oversee contract management, ensuring compliance with EPC terms, risk mitigation, and dispute resolution.
• Develop and present commercial strategies, claims, and counterclaims, ensuring alignment with company interests.
• Lead negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to secure favorable terms.
• Identify and analyze business opportunities, risks, and market trends to drive growth.
• Prepare high-level reports, commercial presentations, and documentation for leadership and external partners.
• Ensure adherence to industry regulations, legal requirements, and company policies in all contracts and business dealings.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize contract execution and financial performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Engineering, Law, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in business development, contracts, and commercial management within the oil and gas EPC industry.
• Expertise in claims, counterclaims, contract negotiation, and dispute resolution.
• Strong understanding of EPC contracts, FIDIC, and international contract laws.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience advising senior executives or working with Chinese stakeholders in a global business environment.
• Experience in high-value contract management for major oil & gas projects.
