About the Client: A group of companies involved in various growing industries such as equity investment, automotive, food & beverage, real estate, trading and immigration services.

Job Description:

1. Manage the company’s portfolio of investment, record the investment activities, analyze possible variances, and make necessary entries in the journals by interacting with the portfolio managers.
2. Perform detailed review of the yearly audited financial statements, make plans for alternative investment options, and document it appropriately for internal and external review.
3. Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
4. Coordinate and manage all aspects related to general ledger accounting for all investments and interact with the investment accounting system as well as the portfolio manager.
5. Provide assistance in the preparation of valuation materials and monitor valuation procedures.

Requirements Qualifications:

1. Open to Asian nationalities
2. 40 years old and below
3. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or auditing. In-depth knowledge of investment accounting would be an edge.
4. Additional certification (e.g., CPA/ACCA) is a plus
5. Minimum 5 years experience as a Senior Accountant
6. Experience working in a group/holding company dealing with different subsidiaries/business units
7. In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures
8. SAP or Oracle experience required
9. Experience with Chinese accounting software is preferred
10. Excellent math skills with attention to detail
11. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and strong communication skills
12. Will directly report to the CFO
