Job Description

1. Review and verify all the finance-related requests and the supporting documents.
2. Ensure the accuracy of financial documents, as well as their compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
3. Ensure postings of all transactions in the accounting system in time.
4. Complete monthly, quarterly and annual closing in a timely fashion.
5. Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information and budget.
6. Ensure compliance with applicable standards, rules, regulations, and systems of internal control.
7. Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines.
8. Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes.
9. Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
10. Complies with financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation.
11. Assist management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets, financial forecasts, and investment analysis.
12. Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or auditing.
2. Proven minimum 3-year work experience as an accountant or similar role in this region.
3. In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures.
4. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Additional certification (e.g. CPA/ACCA) is a plus.
