SENIOR ACCOUNTANT-REAL ESTATE

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with proven expertise in the real estate industry. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial records, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full cycle of accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for real estate projects.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare financial projections.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, VAT filings, and regulatory requirements.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage intercompany accounts.
• Support audits and coordinate with external auditors and stakeholders.
• Analyze financial data related to real estate transactions, including property sales, leasing, and construction costs.
• Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of accounting operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or ACCA certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in the real estate sector.
• Strong knowledge of real estate accounting principles, including IFRS and GAAP.
• Proficiency in accounting software Tally, QuickBooks,and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
