SENIOR ACCOUNTANT-REAL ESTATE

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with proven expertise in the real estate industry. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial records, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the full cycle of accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
3. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for real estate projects.
4. Monitor cash flow and prepare financial projections.
5. Ensure compliance with local tax laws, VAT filings, and regulatory requirements.
6. Reconcile bank statements and manage intercompany accounts.
7. Support audits and coordinate with external auditors and stakeholders.
8. Analyze financial data related to real estate transactions including property sales, leasing, and construction costs.
9. Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of accounting operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or ACCA certification is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience with at least 3 years in the real estate sector.
3. Strong knowledge of real estate accounting principles including IFRS and GAAP.
4. Proficiency in accounting software Tally, QuickBooks, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
5. Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
