Senior Accountant - Preferred experience in Jewellery Industry

Required to join immediately, Senior Accountant for Jewellery Trading Company in Dubai, UAE

Good knowledge management for ERP systems is necessary.

Responsibilities include:

1. Responsible for accounting analyses of organization to assist with audit planning, error identification, and regulatory compliance.
2. Verifies figures, documents, and account details for auditing, such as cash flow data, income statements, and tax returns.
3. Provides financial control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
4. Researches financial documents in preparation for the auditing process.
5. Plans financial audits from start to finish and makes strategies and plans for the financial department in cooperation with all other departments.
6. Assists stakeholders in determining figures, valuations, and projections.
7. Monitors the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
8. Contracts outside services for banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary.
9. Tracks the company's financial status and performance and presents monthly reports for management to identify areas for potential improvement.
10. Reviews financial data and prepares the annual report of the company.
11. Prepares a presentation every month including (but not limited to): loss and profit, sales target, and invoices.
12. Stays up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes.
13. Maintains financial policies and procedures for the company.
14. Performs bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, monitoring accounts receivable, and budget tracking.
15. Understands and adheres to financial regulations and legislation.
16. Audits all the invoices coming from all the departments.
17. Monitors diamond stock and gold dust and maintains an inventory of raw materials.
18. Provides management with support on any projects that arise based on the business needs.
