About the Internal Finance Service Line

Our internal finance team plays a pivotal role in enabling the firm's success. We are dedicated to driving financial excellence, providing strategic insights, and ensuring effective financial governance. Through robust financial planning, forecasting, and operational efficiency, we empower the business to achieve its goals while adhering to the highest standards of accountability and compliance.

As a Senior Accountant some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Recording and processing cash and bank transactions, including prepayments and credit card transactions
  • Performing bank reconciliations and ensuring accuracy in financial records
  • Conducting account and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparing and filing VAT returns, including VAT reconciliations
  • Maintaining the general ledger and supporting audit preparations
  • Assisting in budget preparation and conducting monthly budget variance analysis
  • Contributing to the preparation of financial statements
  • Maintaining and reconciling fixed asset schedules
  • Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Assisting with supplier payments and ensuring timely processing
  • Liaising with banks and other stakeholders to facilitate financial operations

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting (ERP experience is a plus)
  • Professional qualification (CMA, ACCA, CPA) is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and spoken English. Arabic speaking is advantageous
  • Excellent communication, technical, and analytical skills
