Senior Accountant (Crypto/Web3)

We are currently seeking to recruit a Crypto Accountant for our client, a leading service provider in the global Web3 sector. Due to expansion of their Finance team, they are seeking to hire an Accountancy professional who is very well versed in Crypto related taxation/ payments and on/off ramping.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the entities daily tax matters, to include tax filings & business registrations related to the digital transactions.
2. Assist in accounting for digital assets and timely preparation of financial reports, including financial statements, expense reports, and digital asset reports.
3. Manage financial documentation, including collecting, compiling, and archiving digital asset transaction records and on-chain transaction records.
4. Monitor crypto/digital asset market trends to ensure the security and compliance of fund transfers, identifying and mitigating potential financial risks.
5. Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial information related to digital assets, and support blockchain transparency audits.
6. Participate in the development and improvement of financial policies and procedures related to digital assets, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as Intermediate Accountant, CPA, or ACCA are preferred.
2. Professional Experience: At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience - Strong Crypto experience required.
3. Proficient in local accounting policies and tax regulations. Skilled in using various office and financial software - ideally Zoho.
4. Detail-oriented, strong execution capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
5. Strong English capability.
