Your role:

• Execute assigned tasks and activities with high efficiency and quality following the company rules, regulations, policies and/or instructions.
• Support and interact with business to provide accounting support during month end/quarter end closing.
• Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure transactions are recorded in conformance with SFRGs, Siemens International Chart of Accounts and adequate internal controls are in place as per RIC requirements.
• Monitor ledger account reconciliations prepared by business/legal entity and follow up and clear anomalies identified.
• Provide monthly accounting governance and closing activities for the allocated area and align critical topics with Accounting Hub.
• Ensure accuracy of books and records by analyzing and reviewing financial statements as well as balance sheet review process and provide remediation and solutions.
• Resolve reporting and closing queries and develop controls to avoid repeated issues.
• Support countries in data cleansing and data migration activities in our new P58 SAP System.
• Perform month end closing and reporting tasks (SAP, ESPRIT, ADSTAR etc.). Execute closing programs and reports using SAP/Runbook (automated closing and reporting process).
• Support preparation of local statutory financial statements.
• Support quarterly and yearly external audit process by providing timely information and resolving queries from auditors.

Your qualifications and experience:

• B.Com/BA part qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification from a reputable institution.
• SAP knowledge and experience in FICO and COPA modules; ESPRIT and ADSTAR reporting tools.
• Proven track record of relevant experience in public and non-public (Big 4 and industry Fortune 500).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Expertise in ERM and internal controls.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and impeccable attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
