Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

An accountant and HR Specialist plays a crucial role in managing financial records, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and proficiency in relevant software and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  2. Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  3. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial analysis.
  4. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budgeted expectations and provide explanations for variances.
  5. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. Prepare documentation for audits and assist auditors as needed.
  6. Contribute to the development and improvement of financial systems, processes, and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  7. Prepare and file tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  8. Support strategic financial planning initiatives by providing financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making.
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate financial information effectively to stakeholders, including executives, managers, and external parties.
  10. Facilitate in recruiting, selection, onboarding, performance management, remuneration, leave management, training, and development based on company requirements, policies, and procedures.
  11. Assist in developing Job Descriptions and Employee training materials.
  12. Maintain records and efficient Employee Leave management as per UAE MOHRE and Company policies.
  13. Perform periodic Employee Survey, Assessments, and Appraisals.
  14. Prepare HR-related Reports and Presentations on a monthly and yearly basis and submit to your supervisor.
  15. Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries.
  16. Assist with the recruitment process by performing background and reference checks.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
  2. Having experience in QuickBooks is mandatory.
  3. Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
  4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial records keeping and reporting.
  5. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
